Thousands enjoy Christmas in July Boat Parade

Thousands of people from the northern ends of North Wildwood to Sunset Lake in Wildwood Crest enjoyed the 21st annual Greater Wildwoods Christmas in July Boat Parade Saturday night. Spectators gathered along street ends, marinas, canals and bayfront restaurants to catch a glimpse of the dozens of boats decorated for the Christmas season as they traveled the intercoastal waterway from Sunset Bay in North Wildwood to Sunset Lake in Wildwood Crest.

The parade’s grand finale was held along Sunset Lake, where spectators were able to enjoy live entertainment and lots of children’s activities while awaiting the arrival of the boats. At the close of the parade, a spectacular laser-light show was held, projected into the sail of a large catamaran anchored in Sunset Lake.
