The Borough of Wildwood Crest has announced a change in polling places for two of its five districts for the Tuesday, Aug. 13 special primary election for the United States Senate seat previously held by Frank Lautenberg, who passed away earlier this year.
Registered voters in the borough’s first and second districts have been instructed to join their third district neighbors in casting their votes at the Wildwood Crest Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 building located at 7100 Pacific Avenue. Voters in the first and second districts normally cast votes at the Wildwood Crest Pier Recreation Center, but the building is unavailable on the date of the special primary election due to previously scheduled recreation activities.
Registered voters in the fourth and fifth districts will cast votes at their normal polling place at the Wildwood Crest Ambulance Corps building at 9300 Pacific Avenue for the Aug. 13 election.
The special general election for Lautenberg’s U.S. Senate seat will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16. Registered voters in Wildwood Crest will be able to cast their votes at their normal polling places for the Oct. 16 election.
