Each Wednesday and Saturday evening through Labor Day weekend, the Borough of Wildwood Crest will host free live musical performances from some of the most popular cover and tribute bands in the region.
Free live music shows will be held each Wednesday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the entertainment pavilion located at beachfront Centennial Park at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue. This summer’s music series will also include a special July 4 holiday show.
The series kicks off with summer-themed rock and country music with the Jon Creidler Trio on Wednesday, June 26.
“We’re very happy and proud that our summer music series has become one of the signature events in Wildwood Crest each summer,” said Wildwood Crest Commissioner Don Cabrera. “We’re extremely pleased at how popular these shows have become with music lovers of all ages and we look forward to many great nights of live music at Centennial Park this summer.”
Saturday entertainment includes some of the best-known cover and tribute bands from throughout the Delaware Valley and beyond. Cover bands slated to appear this summer include Mother’s Worry (classic rock), Don’t Call Me Francis (dance/party hits) and Purple Reign (dance/party hits). Tribute bands on the schedule include the B Street Band (Bruce Springsteen tribute), 2U (World’s Second-Best U2 Show), Bennie and the Jets (Elton John tribute), Storm Front (Billy Joel tribute), Soft Parade (Doors tribute) and more.
